Chapter 10

The morning light streaming through the curtains gently coaxed Saanjh from her sleep. She groaned in frustration as the last fragments of her dream slipped away.

Slowly, her eyes fluttered open, and the memories of the previous night rushed back with startling clarity. A mischievous smile curved her lips. Rolling onto her side, she stretched lazily, only to feel the pleasant ache in her muscles. The soreness made her wince, yet it also reminded her of everything they had shared, causing a foolishly happy grin to spread across her face.
