By now, Ruhi knew the Colombo estate better than the lines on her own palm. Every hallway. Every shadow. Every scream.

She knew the exact hour the guards changed shifts—when their laughter filled the courtyard before dawn. She knew which corridors no one dared walk after midnight. Which doors pulsed faintly with sounds that weren’t meant for hearing—the kind that made the skin crawl and the soul recoil.
